We’ve all heard about fitness programs that promise a great body in 90 days or 12 weeks, or three months (which is all about the same time frame).
Why 90 days? I’ve read several books about the subject. They all point the importance of setting goals, designing a plan, and sticking to it. The plan should be carefully divided into the workout section, and the diet section of the program.
A few weeks ago I uploaded a spreadsheet that I designed to help me keep track of my diet but I was missing a spreadsheet containing the details of my actual workouts.
With this in mind I decided to re-design the meal tracking worksheet so that it would include a goal for the day (like reader yeah suggested). Below you will find the links from where you can download the sheet I will be using to track my meals, and the one I will be using to record my exercises for the next 90 days.
You all can be my witnesses. I give myself 90 days to see what I am capable of. I am committed to trying my hardest to stick to my plan and reach my goals. I will update everyone periodically about this, and I will also post what exercises I am working on through the week.
I will post a new photo a month from today so that I can see my progress. I hope you will get out there and workout with me for the next ninety days.

Tomorrow will be day 1. I have already printed the new sheets so that I can begin working on them. Day 90 will be April 23, 2009. I apologize for talking about me today, I just wanted to share with everybody what my plans are.

My own 90 day fitness challenge, can I really improve my body in 90 days? http://theworkoutblog.com/?p=417
So do you just use one sheet per day or do you put many days on a sheet?
I will be using one sheet every day. The sheet to track meals has a goal part and an actual part. So on the left side I am going to plan the meals for the day in the morning, and on the right side of the sheet I will write down what I actually eat during the day. The same idea applies to the workout sheet.
This sounds awesome! I just started a l0w-carb diet, and a spreadsheet like this would be fab help with getting into better shape!
Good luck with your diet, and don’t forget to exercise.
Thanks, this will be a great help!
