I have been very busy lately, but I have had time to keep track of my meals and my exercises for the entire week! This is good news! I gained about 1 1/2 pound this week (this is what I wanted), hopefully most of it is muscle and not fat, but I haven’t measured my body fat percentage yet.
I have been eating about 700 calories in excess of what the calculator estimates is my daily caloric requirement. Most of my meals are very lean though. I try to avoid fats and sugar, although I had a coke today. I also consume whey protein before my exercises and casein protein before bedtime (a good protein shake!).
I did some form of exercise every day but Sunday , and even did cardio! I am overall very happy with this weight increase. I find that the more I eat the hungrier I get. I am at 167.8 lbs for the week.

Huh I never thought to eat protein before I work out, I will have to try that! Is whey protein best to eat before a workout?

Yes Whey protein is actually indicated before and after working out because it fuels and replenishes your muscles very quickly. If you’d like to read more check this article.
