I am sure you hear it all the time, it’s on the news, you can read it in magazines and newspapers. Everyone encourages you to exercise, and that is great. But what are some of the benefits of exercising?
Beyond the “losing weight” benefit of exercising, moderate physical activity can change your body not only on the outside but more importantly inside.
Exercise:
- makes you feel more energized
- builds lean muscle and helps you get rid of fat
- regulates your blood pressure, and lowers cholesterol
- reduces your risk of diabetes
- reduces the risk of osteoporosis
Most people, though, need just one reason to exercise; looking better is a strong motivator, especially as summer quickly approaches.
