Triceps

It is not funny when you cannot remember when was the last time you exercised a particular muscle. I personally tend to overlook working on my triceps. I don’t know why, that’s just me. But it is true that well formed triceps can add a lot of size and shape to your arms.

A very easy to do triceps exercise is the “tricep dip”. The best part is that you do not need any equipment to perform this exercise. You can do it at home, at the park, or in your hotel room.

Don’t think that just because there are no dumbbells involved here that this exercise isn’t good enough. You will actually be lifting and lowering your own body weight!

To start you’ll need a bench to do this exercise or perhaps a chair (it should be strong enough to support all your weight on one side). You’ll start by sitting on your bench or chair, with your hands on your sides, your fingers coming off the edge. Make sure your feet are flat on the floor, and engaging your core lift yourself up. Then lower your body down to a point when your arms form a 90 degree angle with your body. Pull yourself up and repeat.

This is a great exercise, and will only take you a couple of minutes, and you will feel the workout! If you are just starting out I’d suggest you do as many repetitions as you can safely perform (that is with good form), and I would do three sets.
