Strength training are exercises which you perform by repeating sets of exercises with the help of some form of resistance. In other words, using a pair of dumbbells to perform some arm curls are a form of strength training. You can perform other strength training exercises with only the help of gravity.
Strength training, as you probably figured out, is not only good for your arms. Strength training increases your muscle mass giving you that sexy shape you are looking for, and as if that was not good enough, researchers have proven that strength training help you burn fat fast.
Some simple Strength Training exercises that you can do at home:
Crunches:
Keep your feet on the floor. Lift your upper body. Be careful, do not tilt your head forward towards your feet as you perform this exercise.
